About the Position
The ABM and Digital Marketing Contractor supports CMB’s Brand Growth team in our mission to engage and convert new accounts, expand contacts within growth accounts, and expand usage among key accounts. This role collaborates across teams to deliver high-value content to clients and prospects, plans and executes integrated multi-channel campaigns, and analyzes performance to continuously optimize strategies.
From sales collateral and marketing content to account-based marketing programs, webinars, and conferences, this role helps turn strategy into campaigns that build pipeline and accelerate deals. The role will work up to 30 hours per week and is offered remotely. It reports jointly into the Content Strategy and Business Development leaders, and has the potential to transition to a full time role in 6–12 months.

You think strategically, sweat the details in execution, and are energized by collaborating with sales, business development, and content teams to engage the right accounts with the right message. You will use your own computer while contracting in this role.

About Your Background
You come from a B2B marketing agency background and have a demonstrated track record of translating strategies into campaigns. You have experience building campaigns for enterprise B2B marketers, which is required for this role, and you’re comfortable using marketing technology to measure performance and optimize results.

Responsibilities and Expectations
Essential Duties

Sales Collateral and Content Management
  • Develops capabilities presentation, case studies, videos and one-pagers on core capabilities and thought leadership pillars. Updates and maintains sales collateral.
  • Supports the development and maintenance of Learning Workshop content, ensuring it is modular and customizable to account team needs and objectives.
  • Manages sales enablement content within HighSpot, optimizing structure, tagging, and usage based on data, feedback, and sales performance insights.
  • Curates conference and event-related content, working with the Design Team to consistently implement the brand across external touchpoints.
  • Collaborates on content creation for business development outreach, including targeted emails, video case studies, and other growth-focused assets.
Marketing Content Development
  • Develops short-form and long-form marketing content, including papers, guides, and blogs leveraging source materials and generative AI tools.
  • Writes content to support campaigns, landing pages, emails and social posts, ensuring relevance and alignment to buyer needs.
  • Manages website content writing, coordinating with external agencies as needed to ensure accuracy, freshness, and brand consistency.
ABM Strategy Development & Execution
  • Collaborates with sales and business development to identify high-value accounts, decision-makers and influencers
  • Supports Business Development with cross-functionally coordination to plan and assist with ABM programs (1:1, 1:few, 1:many) targeting specific accounts, specific industries that generate new pipeline and accelerate deals for key target accounts
  • Leverages existing content to develop compelling messaging aligned to client and prospect needs and their purchase journey
Webinar & Conference Execution
  • Owns end-to-end planning and execution of webinars, virtual and live events
  • Collaborates with internal teams and guest speakers on event strategy, content, promotion, and logistics
  • Tracks registration and attendance, coordinates follow-up communications, and analyzes post-event performance with Business Development
Qualifications
  • Digital Marketing Skills: 5+ years of experience in B2B digital marketing, with hands-on responsibility for content development, email and social campaigns, webinars, and events.
  • ABM Expertise: Understanding of ABM principles, strategies and best practices. Experience in marketing to large B2B enterprises, selling marketing or insights products or services. Familiarity with digital advertising using DemandBase or other ABM systems.
  • Tech Proficiency: Expert user of HubSpot marketing and sales solutions for automation. Comfort with CMS platforms and landing page builders and knowledge of HTML/CSS for email formatting a plus. Experience with webinar/event platforms. Understanding of AEO/GEO a plus.
  • Strategic & Tactical Skills: Proven ability to think strategically, with exceptional attention to detail in execution. Able to clearly communicate new ideas, products, and campaigns to both internal and external stakeholders
  • Project Management: Highly organized and efficient with the ability to develop and execute against an evolving plan. Strong project management, time management, and prioritization skills to oversee multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Collaboration: Demonstrated ability to achieve results working cross-functionally with sales, marketing and product development teams.
  • Outcome Driven: Analytical mindset and familiarity with campaign KPIs and performance metrics. Experience in testing and optimizing campaigns for performance, with expertise in driving web traffic, MQLs, and SQLs as well as optimizing conversion from discovery to exploration, evaluation and advocacy.

The hourly rate range for this position is $41 - $48. The hourly rate is dependent on a variety of factors including (but not limited to) experience, expertise, skills, and contractor’s location.
